My students range from age 5-7 and benefit from flexible seating so they can stay engaged. This requested A Place for Everyone Classroom Carpet will allow students to move from their chairs to the carpet instead of staying in their chairs all day. A carpet is also useful when teaching whole group instruction or a social emotional lesson where we sit in a circle and share our feelings for the day. By sitting together during a social emotional lesson students are building a sense of community and unity within each other. Students also tend to pay better attention when they are sitting on the carpet during whole group instruction.
