Allowing my students to have access to technology within the classroom can help them explore the world outside of their neighborhood. Doing extensive long-term projects requiring research and data that can be done using their own laptop in school. In addition to using the laptops for research, they can also use it to interact during lessons by taking notes, using supplemental resources, as well as taking various polls to improve classroom participation. Inverting technology into everyday learning will help broaden their horizons and expose them to a world that they have yet to see but can soon be in their reach. Allowing my students to be comfortable in a nice cozy environment equipped with a lounge chair and carpet will make them feel more at home and help them feel relaxed throughout their learning process.
