These materials will assist students in remediation and reinforce grade level reading. My lessons plans will reflect the incorporation of these materials to bring students to their appropriate levels. I intend to use these materials with my students collectively and individually in preparation for standardized testing. As they show improvement, I plan to continually challenge them to be better readers and to demonstrate their writing ability. In addition, I plan to reintroduce cursive writing and penmanship to students, as it has become a dying art. By the end of the school year, my students will have improved their reading skills.
