While many schools support full inclusion, the classroom environments often do not support this concept. Students are still expected to sit at desks to complete their work, which simply does not work for all. In the case of my classroom, the seating areas are block type tables with chairs around them. Students are often crowded next to each other, which can cause some people to feel uncomfortable. By having these portable laptop seats available, it allows an alternative for those students who need it. The flexible seating provided by the purchase of these portable seats will allow students optional seating, giving them a resource to be comfortable enough to produce their work. When students are comfortable in their environment, they can better focus on the tasks at hand.
