I plan to use these materials to make small groups run smoothly. While I am working with students in small groups students will be doing stations and independently reading out of their book bins. I want to have students select 4-7 books to have in their book bins at all times. As for the bulletin board decoration, I want to create a classroom community. Having students take ownership of their classroom with clear jobs is important as well as knowing birthdays and important events happening in their daily life. The easel would be beneficial for whole group lessons where I can model what I want them to do and it will give students the opportunity to come up and practice themselves.

About my class
