A sensory room—a space with a variety of equipment that provides students with special needs with personalized sensory input—helps these children calm and focus themselves so they can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others. Our classroom has an amazing space just waiting for the requested materials to transform it into a functional and much needed calming space for our special needs students! This space will be needed for regularly scheduled sensory breaks as well as when our students are having a rough day to quietly and peacefully learn to self regulate themselves and then integrate back into the classroom environment. Thank you in advance for investing in our students!!!
