I want to create the best learning environment for my students to help them feel comfortable and fully engaged. Children need movement, and that includes in the classroom. Flexible seating will allow them to wiggle while they work, increase oxygen to their brain, and help them stay focussed for longer periods. I know that providing my students with flexible seating options will allow them to get the most out of our classroom activities. Adding wobble chairs, comfy floor seats and ball seats will give my students many options for where to do their best learning. Students will be responsible for choosing what seating will keep them focussed on their work and have the opportunity to try out all the options. Creating a classroom space that meets the individual needs of all my students will impact their learning in a positive way.
