My request for a Cricut Machine in the classroom is so I can individualize student lessons. A Circut will ensure that the lessons target specific goals that are found in the student's Individualized Plans. Many students are working on identifying or spelling their name. One way I would use the Cricut to cut out letters in a variety of textures and sizes, so they can build their own name. This activity will give students hands-on practice and the teacher the opportunity to differentiate learning for each student. Having a Circut in the classroom will make learning age appropriate and fun while building skills that make a foundation for a strong future. Using a Cricut to make hands-on​ games and activities will enhance student knowledge of the subjects being studied.
