My students love special treatment. Movies, snacks, and trips help to motivate them. Teachers have expressed the need for a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program to help encourage the life lessons of being on-time and prepared. As part of this program students will be rewarded for getting to class on time. Paired with a social-emotional learning curriculum, the Never Late program is designed to provide incentives for students to school and class on time. This tiered intervention offers weekly and monthly incentives for students who meet school-wide and personal attendance goals. Until coming to school regularly and getting to class on time becomes a habit, these incentives will help motivate the students.
