Students will gain hands-on practice with STEM materials in a small group setting. Third graders enjoy collaborative challenges and by having STEM stations set up throughout our classroom, students can engage in higher level thinking through use of LEGO Engineering materials, conduct basic coding using an app in conjunction with the micro:bit technology materials, and a Sphero robot can be programmed through an app allowing students to determine how to move the robot through obstacles. Innovative and collaborative thinkers are ignited through hands-on opportunities with problem solving, creative thinking, and testing out their amazing ideas.
