These materials will help my students become more hands-on in the classroom. Students will be able to touch 3d models and retain the information more effectively than just reading about it in a book. The models give us another way to reinforce what I am already teaching in the classroom, in a fun, engaging way. The lectern will enable my students to become better public speakers. I teach a unit on leadership and effective public speaking. We also have several presentations throughout the year, in which the students become the teacher. I feel the lectern will give them a better feel for public speaking in the future.
