I am requesting an iPad, carrying case, and resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. We use the iPad daily in my speech therapy sessions. When traveling to three campuses within the district an iPad gives my students a portable way to learn through technology due to the lack of classroom space available on the different campuses. Our current iPad is eleven years old and will not support any more app updates or web pages that engage my students in active practice and learning. The donations to the project will replace our eleven-year-old iPad and allow the students to actively engage in current technology to facilitate their communication skills. The TpT gift card will be used to purchase activities and materials to be used on the iPad. We have been using the same materials for the past eleven years. Because of the cost of specialized speech therapy apps and updated technology, my students are unable to advance in their communication skills. Middle school and high school students require different web pages such as Boomlearning.com that is unavailable on our current iPad. Please help my students speak and be heard by allowing them to engage in current technology.
