The students that enter my classroom each year, come from a diverse background. I teach at a title I school which means the majority of my students come from struggling homes. The majority of my students are also second language learners, which means that often, reading can be more difficult or take more time, when learning it in a new language. Creating an extra inviting library with books that are relevant to them, will help foster a love of reading, even when it may seem difficult. Seeing books they want to get their hands on from the collection provided, organized on the furniture provided, and a comfortable area to enjoy them is sure to get them reading!

About my class
