Choice is a major part of helping students take the lead in their learning. During center time, the students will have the opportunity to choose the center in which they would like to participate. They will have the choice between literacy center, science/social studies center, math center, art center, and dramatic play. They have the freedom to creatively use the materials provided. My responsibility is to make sure they have as many engaging materials as possible that will enhance their learning experience. By having an array of engaging materials for center time, students will independently be able to explore while learning.
