I've been looking into different ways to engage my students, yet making learning fun. I stumbled upon flexible seating in the classroom and thought that my students would love the concept. I will give students different options as to where they would like to complete their center/skill work for the day. I want to start out with wobbly chairs and cushions to test out the new concept. Rather than making students sit where I tell them too, I will give them the choice to pick where they feel they can be most successful! Another way to improve the function in my classroom, will be to get a large classroom mailbox. This will be where I can send notes home, return papers that were graded, and also a place for students to put work that they completed during the school day.
