Dr. Seuss said it best..."The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." I want my eighth graders to travel! In order to travel together this school year, our class library needs to be "packed" with high-interest fiction novels and nonfiction selections. Having a variety of novel selections in class available to students will encourage reading: Skills will be built. Writing will improve. Conversations will have substance. Accelerated Reading tests will be passed. Imaginations will soar! "You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book." Dr. Seuss and Ms. Vincent's classes request your assistance in purchasing lots and lots of novels for the class library.
