These materials will be used daily in our classroom primarily to enhance the instruction of phonics, reading, and writing. This mobile easel will be an integral tool of daily reading, writing and phonics mini lessons. The materials purchased will be used to enhance the interactive portion of lessons and will serve students visually, kinesthetically, as well as tactile/manipulatively. Students will gather around the easel during reading mini-lessons, phonics lessons, as well as writing and morning messages. Students will be able to write on this easel using the lined white board, as well as manipulate magnet letters and words for word and sentence formation. Students will also use this tool as a visual to display anchor charts and teacher/student examples. This easel will allow our lessons to transition smoothly from one subject to the next.
