All students want to shine and be successful in the classroom. Students in Special Education need accommodations and modifications to be successful learners. Having computers available to my students will allow me to individualize learning and to reach the needs of my students. The computers will be used for: 1) reading assistance, audiobooks, and large print reading, 2) Math learning programs and 3) Writing time, which will consist of voice typing. Google classroom will be used to individualize classroom work for each student and allow students who are homebound to still participate and not fall behind on their learning. I am a new classroom teacher this year. Currently, I do not have any computers available in my Special Education classroom. Help me to meet my students learning needs so they can continue to grow as learners and shine.
