The ever-growing rate of young children developing their English language proficiency skills can be attributed to skills learned through research-based reading and writing strategies. A whiteboard helps facilitate this in an early childhood classroom. Having materials readily available in one convenient space minimizes the need for students to look or walk around to retrieve items which may distract others from the lesson.
A royal learning station equipped with all the necessary materials to facilitate learning will keep students engaged and limit the need to search for items during instructional time. This unique learning center, along with all of its compartments, is large enough for all students to see what is being written and shared. Students can also come up to display and share their learning and understanding to their peers.
By donating to our project, you will not only help young English language learners in a Title I school, but it will help to improve and increase student motivation, focus, and language acquisition. This will intentionally aide to increase their academic achievement. Students will remain focused, engaged, and immersed in the lesson by being able to visually see what is being displayed and sharing their work/skills with peers.
