I am a first-year teacher, and I am striving to create a welcoming classroom environment. I want my students to feel at home when they are in the classroom. By donating to this project, you will help students in first grade to have a more comfortable, flexible work space, as well as give them materials to be successful and engaged in their work. The wobble cushions, paired with the class set of clipboards will give my students more options when it comes to completing work. The rug will give students a comfortable space to sit in the classroom, allowing them to be more engaged during lessons/read alouds. The book bins will be used for students to store their selections from the classroom library. The chime will be used for calming transitions. And finally, the answer buzzers will be used for review games to make content more engaging!
