My students like to integrate our social studies content into their reading education. There's no better way to do that than through the use of the Time for Kids magazine subscription. Students in my classroom like to read about famous Americans and historical events and enjoy the variety of fiction and nonfiction pieces provided in Time for Kids. Having this resource will allow my students to tie together their reading and social studies in a way I can't provide since I do not have a large collection of books on history that meet the content of my new 4th grade standards. This resource will be something students can easily take home, including the kiddos who don't have book bags and who don't have tons of books and literature laying around their house. They'll stay interested with a new magazine almost every week to read!
