I would like the classroom that I am moving into to feel like home for my students. Because I will be teaching math and ELA, I believe having the option to sit on furniture other than your typical chair will help the students be more engaged in the lessons being taught. I also feel that group work is important, so having flexible seating options will make group work easier. Some students may choose to sit on the floor, while others may choose to sit at desks or a table. We all learn and work differently, so I'd like to be able to accommodate different learning styles.
