My third graders will be meeting every morning on the carpet to share about themselves and what is going on in their lives. Children get so excited to be able to talk in front of their peers and teachers. Another key part of my classroom is flexibility, and this will be achieved by allowing students to move around the classroom during instruction. I want to grant students movement so that they can focus and be the most set up for success. I want my students to have a diverse learning experience in my classroom. Having different seating options and a classroom carpet to share will achieve this.
