Our fifth grade English Language Arts class will be doing a variety of multimedia projects including making our own movie adaptations of our favorite books. The iPad will be used for reading ebooks and working together to create screenplays and film our own movie versions of several books we will read this academic year. Children love good books and great movies. I want to give my students the opportunity to showcase their love of stories and be the stars of their own movies, poetry mini-series, and documentaries. This project will one that is used for many years to come and impact hundreds of children by encouraging them to engage in the world of performing arts, writing, and storytelling.

About my class
