Using flexible seating will allow my students the ability to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain and it also improves core strength. It will also help keep my students more alert and focused. I am focused on incorporating flexible seating now more than ever with littles coming into my room. I have chosen items that can be sanitized in between student use so they can stay safe without being stuck in an uncomfortable chair all day long. Right now, classrooms have many expectations to follow when it comes to health safety due to Covid-19. My students cannot be in close together and having different options for them to sit and work while at their seats all day long, will be highly beneficial to their learning and engagement.
