Teaching in low socioeconomic areas, supplies are not always readily available for school. Students should not have to focus on what materials they do not have in the classroom but focus on the instruction being presented to them. Enabling students to explore great authors and express themselves through their writing is what makes teaching passionate for me. I want to engulf my students in that passion. While other obstacles may appear throughout the school year, I do not want what my students do not have be something else that holds them back. Allowing them to just be students and give them the motivation, skill, and confidence is my main focus.
