Flexible seating will give my kinders choice in their day. By having a variety of options, they can find comfort in their learning. By providing flexible seating to my kinders, they are given the opportunity to experiment and find an option that best supports their comfort while learning. My kinders will use these seating choices during small group instruction and independent learning time. When students feel comfortable in their environment, distractions are eliminated allowing them to focus on their learning. The bean bag chairs will be in our classroom library for kinders who would like a cozy place to practice their reading skills as they get lost in a book. Three of ball chairs and two of the wobble chairs will be around a kidney table that will be used for small group instruction. The other three ball chairs and two wobble chairs will be placed around the room for independent work time.
