Many of my students have trouble focusing and sitting still. I work to use this energy in a way that is beneficial to their learning by doing activities that let the students get up and move. We do escape rooms and have hands on competitions that promote collaboration within a student's group. However, there are days in math that we have to buckle down and work the problems. Flexible seating will allow my students a working outlet for their energy and help others to focus on the task at hand. I plan to use wobble chairs for my tables, standing tables, floor seating, and regualr group tables to create an environment that is beneficial to all students instead of just a few.
