I plan to use the new table to add a separate writing area to our classroom. I would like to advance the literacy skills of the children to better prepare them for future success in school. I will use the the writing materials to advance their skills in this area. The children love to make their own books, each becoming an "author!" Four year old children are very active; I plan to use the wobble chairs for the students who have a hard time sitting still. If children are able to move in their chairs, it will help them stay seated and focus on the tasks at hand. The books and puppets will be added to the book area. The children all come from diverse backgrounds and the diversity books will add to our classroom community! Students enjoy learning about different occupations and will use the puppets while doing so.
