In order to create an inclusive classroom environment for my scholars to learn and grow, it is important we have all the tools we need! Because of this, I intend on implementing flexible seating options and collaborative areas in my room. As growing kids, my scholars need to have more options inside the classroom to be active especially when they are constantly sitting in classrooms. These supplies will help me create an organized, inclusive environment for all my students to learn and grow. I truly believe that learning environments must be clean, organized, and comfortable for all learners. My scholars will be able to use many of these supplies as flexible seating options or tools to help them with their project-based learning throughout the year. These materials will assist them with the exploratory learning that will push their reading and writing skills onto the next level. For example, balance balls, portable lap desks, and bouncy bands will give students inclusive seating options and the pens, pencils, binders, and markers will help them complete their projects in class. The materials on this list will help me jump start my classroom for the 2019/2020 school year and all the years to come!
