We are a low income school with limited resources. My leveled library consists of printed books off the computer...and they aren’t in color. I’ve noticed they have limited interest in reading them. “When we read we take a journey”, this is what I tell my students. It transports us to places we haven’t been and may never go. It allows us to be creative and silly and grow in so many ways. My students take such pride in the books that we have and I know will cherish books that actually allow them to read and explore independently! I want to be able to give my students the world. Please help me give them the world through the joy of reading.
