Having a carpet with enough room for each student to have their own square will make such a difference in learning! We spend lots of time on the carpet using educational materials, reading stories, and learning how to be students. My kids gain English language and social skills while on the carpet as well. When students don’t have enough space they lose focus. Currently, students are much too crowded and barely have enough room to sit without bumping into others. I also want my classroom to be a warm, inviting, and safe place. A bright carpet will make that possible.
