In creating an inviting environment where all students can learn, as their teacher, I recognize that students arrive to the classroom with diverse learning backgrounds. This includes the need for passages, problems, and books to be read to them. In providing the best learning experience for students, working headphones would be a great asset to our classroom instructional setting. Accommodating students' learning needs is essential to their academic, social and emotional growth. The need for technology in completing assignments has greatly increased. With the use of headphones students could easily have accommodations met and receive the needed differentiation they, at times, require. Overall, having adequate working headphones would help provide a better learning experience for all students.
