Please help me to introduce my Kindergartens to a world of reading and literacy through Big Books!!! This will expose the students to many learning opportunities that will follow them into first grade. The pictures in the big books will help the students focus their attention and follow the story as they are learning to listen. Big books are exciting to children and are a fun way for them to experience books. Big Books are vitally important for young students as they strive towards independent reading which they will be exposed to in Kindergarten. With these Big Books, I will be able to do a shared reading which will enhance their phonemic awareness and concepts of prints.
