I am a first year teacher so I have not collected any supplies yet. My students are first graders in a Title I school. The majority of my students are from extreme poverty. Our school has a much higher than average ELL and ESE population. Even with the odds stacked against us, we are an A rated school and have won several state awards for our students' educational gains. I want to be able to provide my students with the basics, anchor charts, bulletin boards and manipulatives. The items I am requesting are basics for building bulletin boards, anchor charts, and tactile learning.
