I use academic stations to complement my lessons and technology is always a tool that engages students, allowing them to work at their own pace on goals we set together in math, social students, science and reading. With these Chromebooks, I can have students researching, using National Geographic or working on Freckle. Freckle is an engaging and students enjoy learning while having fun. The program begins students with a diagnostic assessment that then produces lessons at their own level and pace. Students are empowered to reach their personal goals using Freckle, which also complements what we are doing in class.
