About my class

Community meetings and small group work are foundational aspects of our classroom and school community. We spend a majority of our day in small groups and on the rug for interactive learning activities. From whole class community meetings to circles at the carpet and small group literacy and math rotations, my students will have endless opportunities to enhance their learning experiences using the easel! Students will interact with the easel throughout the entire school day. A mobile easel will allow my students to be in control of their learning and support them in taking initiative! Additionally, the storage space beneath the easel will allow my students to have quick access to manipulatives and supplies. The storage containers can be easily switched out based on our activity/lesson. I can already imagine their excitement and appreciation of being able to use a BIG easel whiteboard/magnetic surface to support their learning!
