My goal with this project is to help my students get excited to write. Who doesn't like a brand new pencil or pretty color to write with. I hope to engage my students in the writing process by allowing them freedom of choice. I want to offer them several different options of writing utensils from regular pencils, to fancy flair pens and everything in between. I'd also like to offer them the choice of seats, and lap desks to sit wherever they feel most inspired to write in the classroom. The goal is by giving them freedom of choice they will have an open mind to let their creative juices flow and not be shy in their writing.
