Kindergarten is the first full day classroom experience for most children. Helping them learn procedures and rules is critical to their development and my classroom management. A classroom seating rug would be a great help in managing my students during whole group floor time, read alouds, and other times they are not working at a desk. Kindergarteners move from desks to the floor numerous times throughout the day. A rug gives each child their own personal space to sit during lessons or stand during brain breaks. It also looks great in the classroom and aids in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
