These books will aid in small group instruction as well as they’ve independent reading my students will participate in throughout the year. I chose titles to pique my students interest as well as meet them at their reading level. There are also books in which they will be challenged to use strategies to truly engage with the text. I included furniture to help with creating a truly immersive readers nook. I want it to be its own dedicated space in our classroom. These resources will help me provide an atmosphere of non-stop learning, student-driven instruction and will invite and encourage students to use the space and “curl” up with a good read!
