Many of our students experience anxiety, sensory issues, ADHD in addition to experiencing middle school issues. They need a relaxing and welcoming space that they utilize for self regulation and comfort in addition to accessing trusted adults. The items chosen for this project will allow students to regulate their individual emotional needs on a regular basis or for intermittent drop in occasions. All of the items are specifically chosen for their proven abilities to provide comfort and self regulation. We are working to get the new Wellness Center up and operational by the beginning of the new 2019-2020 school year. The entire school staff is excited to have this space for our students. We hope it will provide that needed space for students to develop emotional tools for their success.
