As a math teacher, my job is to help my students to enhance their problem solving skills so that they can apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios outside of my classroom. In order to enhance their individual skills, I need to be able to help them with their strengths and weaknesses at any given moment. Because of the diversity of my students, I need a table that I can use to easily meet with different levels of specific groups. Having a kidney table would help me to pull these small groups of students with similar abilities to enhance their learning at their own level. If I had a kidney table in my classroom, I would be able to pull my lower level students and provide them with the extra help and support that they need. I could also pull groups of my higher students and give them enrichment activities to deepen their understanding and to keep them engaged. Teachers try their best to help their students in any way that they can. A kidney table will help me to do this in my own classroom.
