To increase my students' progress towards their learning goals, I would love to create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and provide my students with engaging, multisensory activities. In my classroom learning happens during small group and one-on-one instruction. By providing my students with alternative lighting and seating, I will create a space that they can enjoy and feel comfortable. Including hands-on technology options and manipulatives will increase my students engagement during instruction, while assisting with their sensory and motor needs. Providing additional curriculum that is focused on learning of daily skills, will help my students gain social and daily living skills, while allowing them to practice independent learning.
