In these unprecedented times, I am reaching out for community support primarily to help me build a collection of digital lesson materials for distance learning and an item that will further complement our use of technology in the classroom for students who return in person. The Teachers Pay Teachers resources I would like to purchase include daily warmup activities, Google-friendly editable templates and high-interest short story sets, all of which my students will use remotely and in the classroom. The headphone splitters will allow groups of students in class to listen to audio from the same texts. Now, more than ever, it is vital to build classroom community. By helping me to purchase prepared distance learning materials, you will grant me more time and energy for developing student and teacher relations, opposed to worrying about reformatting old lessons or starting from scratch. My students should find these new materials easy to access, simple to use, and interesting enough to keep them engaged and actively learning. Several of the resources will be used for group activities, allowing my students to get to know one another and collaborate from afar, or in person. Thank you so much for your consideration in supporting my students!
