Our raised beds are full of tomatoes and sweet potatoes! The Black-eyed Susans and Echinacea are buzzing with activity in the pollinator garden! The worms in the compost bins are chewing up new organic nutrients for our next batch of crops, but our rakes, trowels, shovels, wheelbarrows, gloves and boots don't have anywhere to live! We desperately need to make our tools more accessible and secure in an outdoor garden shed where the students can put them to good use and move them out of the custodial closet inside the building. Please help us continue to develop the "Grow It, Know It" garden that our students love so much about our school, as they learn to plant, nurture, harvest, prepare, cook, eat and share with one another.
