The power of choice allows students to take charge of their learning and make choices that work best for them! Flexible seating allows students to quickly and easily pair up, work in small groups, or read independently during silent reading time. A student's comfort is an essential component in motivating them and allows them to make good choices about where they are sitting. When students are making their own good choices they are more engaged and more likely to get their work done as opposed to sitting at their desks. Engaged students allow for fewer disruptions and easier transitions. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them the opportunity to make good choices and allowing additional seating options to make learning more effective and enjoyable.
