As a science teacher, I have the opportunity to make the sciences fun and engaging. For students to be fully engaged, I like to use lively and colorful manipulatives. In the past year, I noticed that chemistry and astronomy is a difficult concept for students to grasp district wide. Now that virtual learning is our current reality, having visual manipulatives will aid in grasping student's attention to the content. The materials that I asked for will help students to visualize chemical structures, moon phases, and more. The visual aids will be utilized in class and virtually to ensure the all students are engaged and learning.
