My project has many purposes. This table will help students in a variety of ways. First, they will be able to explore many different mediums- sand, water, clay, shaving cream, etc. in a way that is fun an engaging and allows for them to have their own space. This table set will also allow for literacy and math activities that allow students to get up and move, such as scavenger hunts. This will not only aid in academic needs but social-emotional as well. The tables will also allow for small group activities and free center time for active imagination and role play, based on weekly themes.
