These children's books will be transformed into adaptive learning tools including interactive pictures for preschool speech and language therapy students. Books are a great resource to use in therapy to target a wide variety of goals. Interactive books encourage student engagement and promote retention. Theses books help target story retelling, language expansion, pronouns, verbs, emotions, sequencing, vocabulary, other language concepts, and practice specific sounds. Students improve receptive/expressive language skills to better communicate their wants and needs effectively with others. They participate in group activities, which require oral expression of feelings, thoughts, experiences and successfully ask/answer questions appropriate for their age.
