Students with Emotional and Behavioral disorders are at greater risk for difficulties in school, difficulties with social skills and peer interactions, school dropout, and lack of success after K-12 schooling. Our K-5 behavior support program helps students with these challenges to be more successful within the school environment and to form stronger relationships with their peers and school staff. Sometimes our students experience big emotions that cause them to have crisis episodes. A sensory room area gives them a safe space to deescalate their emotions in order to return to their classroom calm and ready to learn.
